the explanation to my dissapearance.

lets start with an apology?

sorry that i haven't posted for 9 days! its quite a shock for me too as this unnatural for me, seeing as i normally post daily. the reason for this is that i've decided to get my feet securely on the ground with blogging. therefore i've decided to create a new blog, this one slightly more focused on what i intentionally wanted from this blog since the beginning, however not manged to stay grounded with: fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

sadly there will be a lack of blogs from this site, as i'm slightly more focused on my second blog at this point.

i will be keeping that blog more private, so i know exactly how many "new" readers i have, and to see if i gain anymore over time. however, if you enjoy my blogs and wish to know the URL to my beauty blog, then drop me an email and i'll happily tell you:

i've thoroughly enjoyed typing my life away to this small crowd, however i just didn't see it being successful. it started to die down, however i appreciate the dedication to those readers that checked daily.i reached over 1000 pageviews in under a month, which may not seem much to successful  bloggers out there, however it meant the world knowing that someone actually did read them.

i'm also thankful for the messages saying how much you loved my writing and opinions on this blog. i'd love you to check out my second blog too.

my perfect imperfections.

as promised, i'm gonna be doing the my perfect imperfections tag.

once again, i tag anyone to do this, as i really enjoy watching and reading them :)

so lets get started!

- if you don't know what this tag is; it is basically where you say 3 things you dislike about yourself, but you have learnt to accept, and then you list 3 other things like you like about yourself -

things i dislike: 

1. first off has to be my thighs...

i don't know many people that like their thighs, i guess we all have images in our heads of what we would like our thighs to look like. i know loads of people who hate their thighs, but i would honestly do anything to have theirs. basically, i just don't like them, i also hate my knees, they're just weird.

2. next has to be my nose...

i think my nose is pretty big. like not huge, but i wish it was smaller. its not cute or pretty, which is a bit weird for a nose to be pretty, but i really hate the shape. its not one of my huge worries, its just one thing i'd change about myself if i could.

3. finally is smile...

now i don't have anything against my smile. so now you're probably wondering why i hate it then? yeah well when i smile my eyes go smaller..like i'm squinting? i don't know why. but when i'm like laughing so hard, like when i'm at the point where i can't control myself -- which is everyday -- my smile goes HUGE and yeah, its not pretty.



things i like: 

1. firstly is probably my hair...

i've never really had one of those hair cuts where you loose like 5 inches or whatever. the most i've had off  is probably when i went to America and had just over 2 inches cut off. however its grown back now.. at the minute my hair comes down to where my ribs end. and i wouldn't really want it much longer, as it would get a bit scruffy and look out of control. i really like the colour, as i've never dyed it or highlighted it or anything, but i have natural light bits in my hair. its not quite straight, but not curly, so i guess its wavy. but yeah, i've always wanted blonde curly hair, but that'll obviously never happen :(

2. next is my feet...

now i have an issue with feet, i really can't stand bare feet, like the thought of them makes me heave. but in primary my feet had a massive growth spurt, and in year 6 i was at a 5 and a half..at that time it was 'cool' to have bigger feet. then when i got into year 8, i was just fitting into a size 4 and a half...people say you're feet can't shrink unless you're old..but now i'm a size 3 and a half..


3. finally is my teeth and lips...

i'm pretty happy with my teeth, i've never had braces and not one tooth is wonky, apart from 2..but they're wobbly. yes i still have wobbly teeth at 14 ok. yeah, i think they're a bit big, but i'm just grateful that they are naturally straight. also my lips, no reason, but i'm just glad they're not tiny.


disclaimer - i'm not bragging about my looks, because there is a lot of things i don't like about myself, but you gotta just live with it. i'm also not attention seeking. -

beauty things i suck at

hello everyone!

i decided to follow the trend of doing a beauty things i suck at tag.

Beauty Things:

the first of many things i suck at is eyeliner. liquid or pencil, i just find it so difficult to get it to look right on both eyes. plus i constantly have a shaky hand, which makes it extremely difficult to get a neat line. overall eyeliner scares me, yes haha, its just the fact that a pencil is going on my waterline..it creeps me out. however i'd love to be able to do it..in the past i've got my friends to do it for me, when going to a party or a night out, and it looks really nice to be honest! oh well

even though this girl looks extremely plastic, i love the eyeliner and eyebrows, i think if i had these eyebrows i'd be so much more confident and happier with my looks. 

next thing is my eyebrows. eurgh, i don't even know where to start. but basically i have weird eyebrows. if i could change them then i would. honestly, my eyebrow hair is really long and curly i guess? i don't think its normal to be honest. all my friends have perfect eyebrows. now i wish i could draw them on, to make them look neater, but the eyebrow hair is long and it just looks worse. plus my hair - on my head, not eyebrows - used to be really dark, like darker than nutella brown, and every since i went to America its gone lighter and lighter, so now its like really really light brown, and obviously my eyebrows haven't changed colour. you probably think i'm a freak now! trust me, they could be worse i guess..i just hate them so bad.

next is a little different. its actually trying new make-up. like i'll buy new make-up and if i like it, then i'll stay with it for agesss. i'll keep it because it does the job perfectly, but the thing is i will never know if there is any better brands or products out there. basically i don't like wasting time or products. i have to use every little bit of the product before throwing it away. its just a habit. so getting a product that i don't like, and having to throw away the whole thing..yeah well that would annoy me.

the final thing i suck at, is getting ready without music. its a weird habit i've had since year 6. its probably because no-one is happy when they have to get up before the sun has even risen..so music makes me more awake and jolly i guess you could say. none of my friends listen to music while getting ready, i find it awkward and really hard to be honest haha.



so there are the main things i suck at.

tomorrow i will be posting my perfect imperfections tag as i think that's a fun tag to do, and i'm getting into tags now.

it's been a while! - small new look haul

wow, 6 days without any blogs..ooops...

basically i have no excuses this time, i haven't even been up to much to be honest..i'm sorry

this weekend i've pretty much done nothing, which is good in a way as for the past month or so, my free weekends have been packed, and it was nice to spend some time with my whole family for once.

today i went to New Look..when we were in there, we decided to look around for anything for my cousins wedding, which is in September by the way, haha.

do you remember those gorgeous shoes i wanted? i posted it at the beginning of this month? they were at the end of this blog:

yeah, anyway, i really wanted an outfit to go with them, and i saw this:

now this won't go with the shoes, as this is more pink. its sort of a peach colour material for the low v neck top bit, then black shorts at the bottom. i will obviously wear a black vest top underneath, or get my mum to pin it higher up. 

this is what the front looks like. there are small rhinestones dotted around on like a sheer material. the material gathers at the top into small pleats. this picture makes it look more pink than it actually is. 

this is the bottom half. just basic black shorts attached to the top, and a plain black belt. 

unless we have some miracle heatwave in September, i WILL be wearing shorts haha. 

this is the back. once again, the gems carry on at the back. 

so anyway, while i was trying that on, my mum came in with a few pairs of shoes she found. i saw that she had chosen these, and instantly fell in love. they are better than the ones i saw in Quiz, as these have a strap. i love them!

then i just bought these, because i liked them, hahha.

1000 views!

yaaaaay, so i have now reached over 1000 views, which is amazing, seeing as i only started this a just over 1 month ago :)

so as promised, i changed the design of my blog again..i wanted to go for a more vintage and cute sort of look..but i'm not sure on the colours right now...so i may change it again soon? haha, tell me what you think it?

so anyway, the other day  i was in the middle of blogging when i reached 1000 views, so i was like: "i better change the design now before i forget!" so i spent ages getting it all perfect, then i forgot to blog..

anyway, on friday it was my dogs birthday! he was 4 :)

so i took him for a long walk when i got home from school as it was reaaally sunny and warm outside..lets hope this is the beginning of summer!

... once again i find myself talking about the weather ...

i don't really have much else to say, i haven't been blogging as much as i had hoped, so i'm sorry for that, school is just taking up my life atm..

also i'm lacking of interesting things to blog about, so any help would be greaaat.

first day back at school.

i'm back!

our holiday was greaaat, i had such a laugh, and had so much fun away from home and with Chloe's family. if you're reading this Chloe; here's the mention in my blog like i promised;) i love you.

anyway, yesterday it was 20 degrees, which was h e a v e n! we need some warm weather, and i desperately need a tan! today has also been sunny, but verrrry windy.

i feel like an old person..why the f*ck am i talking about the weather? oh dear.

ok, so the Easter holidays are over..to be honest they went pretty slow, which is amazing! but now its back at school. which isn't that bad, its just the homework, bitches, teachers, and just getting up at 7am..

so, i'm putting together a small video full of all the fun things we did..that should be coming very soon, i just get so distracted all the time, haha.

the reason why i never did a March favourites, was because i pretty much stuck to my normal make-up and beauty, and never really went out and bought anything amazing that should be in my favourites. so how about something new? a wish list maybe?

here's my wishlist from LuLu's:

i love this adorable warm and cosy cropped jumper. mint green is g o r g e o u s for spring. its so fresh and pretty. for extra sweetness there is white hearts sewn onto the elbows. i find this truly adorable! wear this with white high waisted  shorts or a pretty skirt and some cute flats, and you'll be totally spring! $28.50

i love a good staple necklace. this one is so spring! paired with a pain top, or a collared one? some light wash jeans or some sort of polka dot pattern, wow. stunning. $15

while you're watching the tide roll away, you may as well look adorable in this playsuit. dark wash denim and white polka dots are the cutest for spring, and i just love them so much! i own a selection of spring and summery playsuits, but this has to be my favourite that i've seen! $33 (bargain!)

for spring i loveee polka dots, especially on denim. this is certainly a dressy top, perfect for a meal out or somewhere posh. paired with high wasted jeans, or white shorts, and a statement necklace, you're sure to look greaaat. $42

I JUST CRIED A LITTLE WHEN I SAW THIS IS NAVY!

this is a perfect cropped sweater for those spring days. this is adorable, with the blue and pink contrasting together, 2 of my favourite colours combined. mmm, this screams perfection. $42

with this top you can dress it up or dress it down, with a statement necklace and a skater skirt this would be perfect for a night out. or pair it with leggings, shorts (as shown) or skinny jeans, you can wear this on a lazy day. i love this tee and just love the simple but cute design and colours. $32

the jewellery section on this website is insane! there are millions of things i like. so i'll just show you one for now. these remind me of some earrings that i once had, but i lost one at school. they are identical apart from the extra petals. also these ones are loads cheaper, which is amazing. $11
